WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
Recently acquired by hospitality group, Enhanced Hospitality. Kurobuta takes its inspiration from the Izakayas of Japan, where tapas- style plates are served to accompany drinks in a casual setting. Originally a pop up, Kurobuta has been such a hit with diners who fell for the unique chilled out ambience and exceptional contemporary, Japanese food, it’s been a permanent fixture in the area for many years.
Super fresh sushi, in a variety of creative incarnations such as Soft Shell Crab Tempura Maki with Kimchee Mayo, take a starring role, alongside a fantastically imaginative selection of innovative snacks, salads and stunning sashimi. Robata fans are in for a treat too, with an irresistible choice cooked over charcoal, including our signature dish of BBQ pork belly in steamed buns.
As for beverages, expect to find Frozen Cocktails, Japanese Whiskies, Barrel-aged Cocktails, Frosted Tankard Beers, Growlers and sparkling Sake.
